Removing a failed exchange 2010 server from the organization

Hello experts,

We have one exchange 2010 server. I was trying to add a new server to the organization. But the new server has failed after installing exchange and before moving any data to it. I have formated the failed server after that.

Now, the failed server is still appearing in Server Configuration in EMC.

How to remove the failed server totally from the organization?

Would you please provide more information from which node I have to remove it in ADSI edit console?
Sorry, I have responded before seeing your replies.
There is no CN=Services in the tree. There is only an OU named services which I have made before.

when opening ADSIedit.msc on the root tree, right click, choose connect to
then select a well known naming context , and from the menu choose configuration
Look at the instructions I gave - you have Services listed there. Do you have Microsoft Exchange under it?
Thank you. I am performing a full backup, after which I will try the solutions mentioned above.
